~The chemical, acrylamide, which is used industrially in the manufacturing of some plastics, is also apparently formed by the heating of starches. Foods with especially high levels of the chemical included French fries, potato chips and crackers.

Did you ever hear the saying, “Don’t put it on your skin if you wouldn’t put it in your mouth.”? Our skin is only 1/10 of an inch thick and highly permeable. Skin is the body’s largest organ (approximately 10 sq. ft. if laid out like a rug) and this porous membrane is highly sensitive to toxic chemicals.
In 2009, 12,000,000 people will be diagnosed with cancer, and it’s expected that by 2010, cancer will be the leading cause of death. The cause has long been the subject of much speculation however, the environmental connection is undeniable. Hundreds of studies have pointed to links between products we use daily at home with cancer, from cosmetics to children’s toys. These chemicals accumulate in our bodies over time, breaking down defenses and allowing cancer and other diseases to take hold. 
I know I talk about juicing a lot, but it is such an important part of my day. Lately I have been investing so many hours in my business that it might have been easy to neglect my diet. Thank God I can juice to get some of my nutrients VERY easily!
A cup of warm water with lemon followed by a cup of nettle tea first thing in the morning will get you going in the bowel department.
Hot or Ice Nettle Tea. Bring a quart of water to a boil. Put 2 tablespoons of dry nettle leaves into a teapot and cover with the boiling water. Let the tea brew for 3-5 minutes. Strain before cooling. Add more water, lemon, and your stevia.
